Mak in Maui > 20 Hours

We took a drive to Makena Beach today. It is beautiful as ever, but crowded. They went and paved a road to the beach and brought in portable potties. Hmm, when we used to come years ago it was gravel roads and bushes....I guess Mak has made the place famous.

Makena was kissed by a Gecko today - on her index finger. She swears he kissed her, I don't think she ever got close enough - but it is all she has talked about. GMA Sandy swears it happened too, and promises it will bring 14 years of good luck. Guess we'll be back for more luck soon.
