Really Neat!

Makena's 'rents went whitewater rafting last weekend and had a wonderful time.

GMA and GPA took Makena overnight while Russ and I went out along the south fork of the American River. The rafting was a blast (we had an incredible guide who has me inspired to dump this law school thing and head off the guide school - one semester and one season of guiding and I could be self-employed!) Russ and I were reminded and a humbled by the beauty of Northern California and are looking forward to sharing more of it with Mak. I highly recommend the Whitewater Connection out of Coloma - they took good care of us and left us sufficiently sore so that we felt we contributed something to the day. We are soo lucky to live in California and to have this wonderful river literally in our backyard.
